Cactus can be described as a slow-growing succulent that has tough, stiff stems with fleshy and jointed ends.
It is covered with hard, leathery green leaves. The cut section should not be more than one node above the cut that contains an internode.

You can expect your succulent to thrive when it is given the right environment and taken care of properly.

Echeveria is a very popular type of succulent. It can be found in all shapes and sizes.
The rosette on their rosette makes them easily identifiable.

Aloe arborescens "Torch Aloe" is a great addition to outdoor succulent gardens.
Mountain Crest Gardens has Opuntia pad kits. I was able to pick up "cuttings from" several cactus during the event.
